Who We Are
Kinnikinnick Landing is a land-led agritourism and botanical space in the Okanagan Valley, held on active agricultural land. We cultivate small-scale, retreats, workshops, and gatherings that invite people to connect with the land and each other, adding an option to stay at our Bed & Breakfast to enjoy to immerse yourself in nature even more.
We treat the land as teacher. Through agricultural teachings, botanical programming, and culturally grounded learning, we create ways for people to reconnect with the seasons, ecology, and community. Every use of space supports agriculture first, while opening thoughtful places to gather, learn, and experience land-based hospitality.
Kinnikinnick Landing is situated on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Syilx/Okanagan people. We are grateful to live, learn, and gather here, and strive to honour Syilx caretakers—past, present, and emerging.
Our Approach
Our approach is simple: land first, people always.
We prioritize:
Active agricultural use and growing food
Agricultural and land-based learning
Gentle, community-rooted programming
Thoughtful, small-scale hospitality that works with the land, not against it
Our Mission:
To cultivate a land-led place where people reconnect with nature, culture, and creativity, held by community.
What Guides Us:
Our work is guided by care for the land, each other, and the knowledge we carry forward.
Land-led stewardship and reciprocity – the land sets the pace and shape of what we do, and we give back to the place that sustains us.
Wellness through connection – tending wellbeing through time on the land.
Community and belonging – creating small, welcoming spaces to gather and share.
Respect for land and culture – honouring Indigenous knowledge and place-based wisdom.
Learning in practice – education through plants, food, story, and hands-on experience.
